| The 49 class was built at Clyde's Granville plant with the first loco being delivered on 20/9/60. They are fitted with a GM-567C or GM-567CR engine developing 950hp (gross), 875hp for traction. Two locos are now operated by 3801 Limited and three locomotives are in service for CFCLA but are now designated as KL class locos. Several more are in existance but are not in service. |
