| In 1988 eight NSW locos were specially painted to celebrate the Bi-Centennary of Australia. 48165, 42218, 8010, 8040, 8120, 8172, 8604, 8619 were the locos chosen to carry the striking colour scheme. On the 2nd July 1988 all eight locos were assembled at Broadmeadow Loco for photographic purposes. I was lucky to visit Broadmeadow at just the right time to record the event |
